EMC2MC are proud to have been given the remit to sell a share of the Belgian first division club, Club Brugge

 

Club Brugge were league champions for the seasons 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022 and remain within Champions League qualifying for the current season

 

EMC2 are discussing with both Saudi Arabian and Abu Dhabi investors, an investment in this club and also discussions are at an advanced level with the American Sports investment fund the Ackerly Brothers

 

The club is on the market for €200,000,000 with a 5% commission for taking a buyer to the table and, although shared with partners, EMC2’s commission would be a 50% percentage of  that 5%

 

A profitable club with an excellent academy which regularly brings on young players through their academy, a recent example is the sale of their Brazilian   striker, Igor Thiago, the deal being worth an estimated €37M and indeed generated revenues on player transfers in the 22/23 season in excess of €60M

Club Brugge NV reported earnings results for the full year ended June 30, 2023. For the full year, the company reported sales was EUR 95.37 million compared to EUR 79.24 million a year ago. Revenue was EUR 152.13 million compared to EUR 115.11 million a year ago.

Net income was EUR 12.35 million compared to EUR 3.32 million a year ago.
